New Study: The Impact of Diverse Culture, Language and Accent on the Quality of Patient Care
March 22, 2005
Three leaders
in accent modification and corporate speech training have
launched a research project investigating the impact of
diverse culture, language and accent on the quality of
patient care. The
principals of Successfully Speaking, The Whittaker Group
and LDS & Associates have joined together to
study how these issues affect both providers and recipients
of healthcare in today's medical environment.
We strongly encourage your participation in our survey! Your candid and completely confidential
responses will help trainers devise practical, workable and successful communication improvement
programs to address these challenges to enhance both the work environment and patient care outcomes.
Results will be presented at a future national association conference and will be shared with
participants upon request.
If you have any questions, please contact Lynda Katz Wilner,
principal investigator, at LKWilner@successfully-speaking.com.
